Green and selective protocol for the synthesis of quinoxalines

An efficient and eco-friend method has been developed for the synthesis of quinoxaline derivatives via the condensation of aryl 1, 2-diamines with 1, 2-dicarbonyl compounds in MeOH at room temperature.
