Drug use disorder, strengthening capacity on mental health and substance abuse policies
Drug use disorder substance or drug abuse and addiction, drug use disorder, also called substance use or chemical use disorder, is an illness characterized by a destructive pattern of using a substance that leads to significant problems or distress, including tolerance to or withdrawal from the substance, as well as other problems that use of the substance can cause for the sufferer, either socially or in terms of their work or school performance. The effects of drug use disorders on society are substantial.

Journal of Drug Abuse is aim to publish foster activities in the field of drug abuse and the burden associated with mental, neurological and substance use disorders, and to promote mental health worldwide.
The objective of IPJDA is to publish high-quality original research papers, case studies, narratives, review article, short communication, clinical data, epidemiologic studies, thesis and relevant and insightful reviews. Every year we published with different volumes and different issues. Each issue of the journal covered with different types of topics in the field of mental health, neurological and substance abuse problems and service systems; evidence-based technical guidance on mental health and substance abuse; strengthening policies and systems for mental, neurological and substance abuse care; strengthening capacity on mental health and substance abuse policies and systems to deliver services that are effective, adequate and respect the human rights of affected individuals, and respond to emerging mental health problems such as emergencies and HIV/ AIDS. All published papers, are subject to the journal’s doubleblind review process. The current volume of the journal is 6 with issue 1.
Drug abuse Journal has one of the fastest turnaround times of any medical journal in the world. Generally peer review is complete within 2-3 weeks and the editor’s decision within 2-7 days of this.
