Biomedical science is studying about how the body and diseases works and how to study them in in vitro laboratories. Medical science is studying about how persons and their body and diseases work and interact with the persons, diagnosis and treatment.
Biomedicine holds the fields of microbiology, biochemistry, clinical, medical, computational and engineering aspects relevant to biomedical sciences. Biomedicine journal also encompasses the knowledge from cell biology, genetics, computational studies, biophysics, immunology, developmental biology, translational medicine biomedical research, biomedicine, biomedical science, biology, biomedical informatics, biomedical diagnostics, biomedical engineering, biomedical ethics, biomedical therapy, biomedical systems, biomedical technology, clinical research, physiology, medical research, pharmacology, personalized medicine, biochemistry, surgical instrument disciplines. Thus, there is an urge of a common podium for the fraternity dealing with any aspect of the subject.
Biomedical technology is a wide term that combines engineering and technology to solve medical or biological problems involving humans. The design and use of medical equipment used to diagnose and treat various diseases. Advances in biological and medical technologies have been providing us explosive volumes of biological and physiological data, such as electroencephalography, medical images, genomic and protein sequences.
Recent technological advances in medical informatics and biomedicine facilitated the development of complex biomedical systems including innovated clinical and computer-based decision support systems, knowledge acquisition and management, computational intelligence in molecular medicine, bioclinical medicine, and healthcare. Artificial intelligence (AI) has a great impact on the fields of biotechnology and medicine.
Insight in Biomedicine journal is indexed in the leading databases and, since they are open access, have a broad readership. All published articles of this journal are included in the indexing and abstracting coverage of Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Cosmos IF, Publons, Secret Search Engine Labs), Studies receiving funding from a funding organization that is included on the list of PMC and Research Funder Policies or authors having NIH grant were submitted to PubMed.
This journal is indexed in the leading databases and, since they are open access, have a broad readership. I am very much happy to inform that, all issues of volume 5 were published online well within the prescribed time during the year of 2020. I would also like to congratulate all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of Insights in Biomedicine journal for their immense support and we look forward to bring out the last issue release of Volume 5 i.e., Volume 5, Issue 6 of Insights in Biomedicine journal in scheduled time by the end of December month in 2020.
