The Journal of Drug Abuse has become a highly accessed open access journal in the field of Addiction, despite of its infancy. The Journal functions on principles of scientific excellence, publication ethics, and rapid dissemination of cutting edge research and innovation. We invite you to submit your most exciting work to the Journal of Drug Abuse and to serve as reviewers when invited to do so. Reviewer engagement is one of the most important components in the pioneering, expedited, and fair review process to which the journal is committed to.
In the July issue, we cover a variety of topics, including the emerging need to understand and address household and prescription drugs disposal as it relates to drug abuse, overdose, and its impact in our communities. I look forward to sharing our second issue – and to fostering the possibilities for research connections that we hope to support with this new journal.
