Each type of study is designed to address specific research questions and objectives, ranging from assessing the safety and efficacy of a new treatment to exploring the natural history of a disease or condition. The primary purpose of clinical studies is to generate robust scientific evidence regarding the safety, efficacy, and effectiveness of medical interventions. Before a new treatment can be approved for clinical use, it must undergo rigorous evaluation through a series of clinical trials designed to assess its therapeutic benefits, potential risks, and optimal dosage regimens.
