Interventional Cardiology is Imedpub publisher hybrid, peerreviewed journal that considers articles concerned basic research on cardiology. This is the journal where cardiologists publish. Coronary thrombectomy
Coronary thrombectomy deals with the removal of blood clot in heart muscle.
Ischemic heart diseases
Ischemic heart disease is defined as the condition where the blood supply to the heart is reduced due to narrowing of blood vessels
Myocardial infarction
Myocardial infarction is defined as the cardiovascular disease which deals with insufficient blood supply and oxygen to heart, then heart muscle gets damaged.
Echocardiography
Echocardiography is defined as a branch which deals with study of heart anatomy.
Heart Ablation
Heart ablation deals with the treatment of abnormal heart beats.
Cardiology Procedures
There are different cardiology procedures which diagnose cardiovascular diseases. Electrocardiogram- It is used for measuring the electrical activity of heart. Echocardiogram- It is used to create an image of heart with high frequency sound. Cardiovascular magnetic resonance – It provides a detailed image of heart that can be used to examine heart anatomy as well as its function.
Interventional cardiology is a peer reviewed scholarly open access journal that accepts research articles, review articles, case studies and short communication in the areas of Interventional Cardiology, Cardioscience etc.
Dr. Osmar Antonio Centurion, Professor of Medicine, Faculty of Medical Sciences. He is Professor of Medicine at the School of Medical Sciences from the Asuncion National University in Asunción, Paraguay. He is the Founding Member of Sociedad Latinoamericana de Cardiología Intervencionista (SOLACI). Author of more than 200 medical articles published in peer reviewed American, European and Japanese journals in cardiology.
