Cardiovascular Investigations: Open Access is a peer reviewed journal that focuses on various aspects of cardiology and cardiovascular diseases. Some of the prevalent Cardio vascular diseases include atherosclerosis, heart failure, arrhythmia, malfunctioning of cardiac valves, cardiomyopathy, hypertension associated heart problems and congenital heart diseases. The journal encompasses invasive and non-invasive diagnosis and treatment of Cardio vascular diseases. Current research developments relating to electrocardiogram, echocardiography, X-ray, coronary angiography, stress test, cardiac enzyme assays, myocardial biopsy, pericardiocentesis, cardiac catheterization, CT scan, MRI scan, PET scan, angioplasty, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, placement of stent, bypass surgery of the coronary artery, valvuloplasty, insertion of pacemaker and other facets of diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease are solicited for publication in the journal.
The journal also publishes research developments in the field of angiology, cardiac anatomy and physiology, cardiovascular pathology as well as occupational and life style factors contributing to the incidence of Cardio vascular diseases like, obesity, smoking and lack of physical exercise. The journal accepts manuscripts in the form of original research article, review article, short communication, case report, letter-to-the-Editor and Editorials for publication in an open access platform. All the articles published in the journal can be accessed online without any subscription charges and will receive the benefit of extensive worldwide visibility. Processing of the articles will be done through the Editorial Tracking System for hassle free operation by the authors and the publisher.
