Associate Professor of the Medical University of Silesia, Poland. She is a specialist in internal diseases and angiology. Her main academic interest focuses on oxidative stress in patients with rheumatic diseases, impact of extremely low temperatures (cryotherapy and cryostimulation) on human body (prooxidant-antioxidant status, inflammatory status, lipid profile) and photodynamic therapy as well as clinical application of extremely-low-frequency and weak variable magnetic fields- magnetotherapy and magnetostimulation and low-energy lasers. She is also an expert in thermography imaging in medicine. She is a scientist highly respected not only in Poland but also abroad, with scientific achievements such as participating in academic publications. She is a member of many domestic and foreign scientific associations
