Binyang Du
Editor-in-Chief
Professor of Polymer Chemistry and Physics, Department of Polymer Science and Engineering
Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, P.R. China
Binyang Du studied chemistry at the Zhejiang University, China, and received his Ph.D. (2002) in Polymer Physics and Chemistry from Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science, China. He joined Prof. Stephan Herminghaus?s group at the University of Ulm as a post-doctoral fellow from 2002-2003. He then worked as an Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Fellow (2003-2004) and a post-doctoral fellow (2005-2006) in Prof. Diethelm Johannsmann?s group at the Clausthal University of Technology. In March 2006, he joined the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, China, where he was promoted as a full professor in 2012. His current interests are focused on synthesis, structure and properties of environmental responsive polymers, including environmental responsive microgel and hydrogel, multiblock copolymers as well as the application of Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) technique in the studies of environmental responsive polymers.
