Christopher Holmberg is a PhD Candidate in Food and Nutrition at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He is a former research fellow at the National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry (NCNP) in Japan and a member of Japan Society for the promotion of Science (JSPS). Christopher has also worked as a consultant at the WHO, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse (MSD), focusing on developing the WHO MiNDbank project. Christopher is a registered psychiatric-mental health nurse (PMHN) and has a BSc in Health Service Administration, as well as an MSc in Public Administration. He has worked as a ward manager overseeing an acute psychiatric ward at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden. Christopher is course leader and principal lecturer in a course covering disorders related to nutrition at the Department of Food and Nutrition, and Sport Science. Christopher is also a thesis advisor for undergraduate students in Nursing and Health Promotion. He is a member of the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) and the International Society for Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity (ISBNPA).
