I am a psychologist and cognitive behavioral psychotherapist, specialist in clinical psychology and currently working as a researcher in general psychology at the University of Pisa. I also have a PhD in Neurobiology and Clinic of Affective Disorders and a Postgraduate title in clinical sexology, adolescentology, neuropsychology, forensic psychodiagnostics and hospital psychology. Since 2000 I?ve been working as a freelancer as well as a psychotherapist for S. Chiara Hospital, Pisa. Particularly, I?ve been working with the Unit for Medically Assisted Procreation as Consultant in the Research Project for the definition of the protocol regarding ?Assessment of the Impact of infertility on the psychological sphere and on sexual satisfaction in couples referring to a Medically Assisted Procreation Unit? (Research chief Prof. Genazzani) and in the clinical pharmacology department dealing with psychological evaluation of healthy subjects wishing to participate in clinical trials and experimenting some drugs.
My interest as a researcher include: General Psychology Psicobiology, Physiological Psychology and Neurophysiology Clinical Psychology Psychopathology related to medical conditions: such as fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, type I and II diabetes, oncological disease and infertility.
