Biography

Currently Working as Assistant professor in Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the School of Public Health, College of Medicine and Health Science, Debre Markos University, Ethiopia. I completed B.Sc. in Public Health from Haramaya University and MPH in Epidemiology from the School of Public Health and Medical Sciences at Jimma University, Ethiopia. I Served as a Head, Department of Public Health, Vice Director of office of Registrar, Debre Markos University and Dean, Medicine and Health Sciences College. I have also been working as Touro University Calfornia (USA) Students Preceptor and Liaison person at DMU. I had more than 15 peer reviewed publications on international journals and six conference presentations. Now serving as Editorial Board Member of Debre Markos University Journal of Interdisciplinary studies(DMU JIDS).

Research Interest

Tuberculosis, HIV and its impacts, Relations between HIV/AIDs and Nutrition, Nutrition and Malnutrition, Nutritional problems and their effects, Health policy, Macrosomia, Health service and related problems, Breastfeeding.
