Karen is currently the clinical placement coordinator and faculty of Dalhousie University School of nursing. Karen has spent the past twenty years in a senior management role at an Adult tertiary care institution in Atlantic Canada. Her passion is emergency preparedness and has been involved in H1N1 planning and other emergency opportunities that have occurred. Her clinical expertise is in Cardiac care and has been involved in several large research initiatives. She is currently involved in NCLEX preparation team work to allow students to be better prepared to write there RN exams. Karen has a lot of energy and enjoys new challenges.
