Biography

I have a solid experience in teaching and giving lectures to Medicine students, residents of Cardiology, cardiologists (2002-2013) and in participating as an expert, rapporteur in numerous medical Congresses, workshops, roundtables, etc. Certified in Cardiology by the : Hellenic Board of Internal Medicine, Hellenic Board of Cardiology, Belgium Board of Internal Medicine, Belgium Board of Cardiology, Fellow of European Cardiological Society (FESC), Member of Working Group on European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI), Member of Working Group on Heart Failure Association of the ESC, Member of Working Group on European Valvular Heart Disease, Member of Working Group on European Grown-up Congenital Heart Disease. Medical Society Memberships & Working Groups Member of the Belgium Cardiological Society (2010); the Hellenic Cardiological Society (2009); the European Cardiological Society (2009); Core Group of the HCS: Interventional Cardiology (2010); the Core Group of the HCS: Heart valves Diseases (2009).

Research Interest

Cardiology research, experimental surgery and laboratory studies, coronary intervention, intervention in pediatric and adult with congenital heart disease, echocardiography laboratory, database management and statistics, clinical genetics.
