Dr. Laura Mandelli has a post-doctoral research fellow position at the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Science, University of Bologna, Italy. She is psychologist, psychotherapist and PhD in Human Psychobiology. She is lecturer of Psychiatry at the School of Medicine at the University of Bologna. She participated to several research projects founded by National and International associations; her works mainly focus on psychosocial and biological determinants of affective disorders as well as response to psychotropic drugs and psychological interventions. To date, she is coauthor of a hundred published articles in indexed peer-reviewed journals, 5 book chapter and about 120 poster presentations. She has received prizes as Young scientist, including the Fellowship Award from the European College of Neuropsychopharmachology (2007) and the Rafaelsen Award from the International College of Neuropsychopharmacology (2008). She is member the scientific boards of several journals, scientific societies and congresses.
