Mohammed Mustafa, is an Assistant Professor and Head of Endodontic Division, Department of Conservative Dental Sciences, and also holds an additional responsibility of being College Coordinator (Quality & Development), College of Dentistry, Prince Sattam Bin AbdulAziz University, AlKharj, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Mustafa has over 25 scientific papers published in well recognized and peer reviewed journals. He is also in the editorial board for many national and international reputed journals. Dr. Mustafa holds a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) and MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) with specialization in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. He has also been honored with fellowships i.e. Fellowships in Pierre Fauchard Academy (FPFA), Fellowship in Academy of Dentistry International (FADI, USA) and also Fellowship in International College of Dentists (FICD).
My area of research interest: Endodontics; Operating Microscope, Surgical Loupes, Extra-canals, Irrigating Solutions, Intra-medicaments, Obturating Materials & Techniques. Restorative & Esthetic Dentistry; Implant Dentistry; Tissue Engineering; Bone Graft; Osseointegration; Oral Microbiology; Oral and Dental Public Health / Special need people / Hearing and Speech impairments. My recent area of research is mainly focused on developing composites biomaterials, nanoparticles, bone tissue, Osseo-integration and tissue engineering. Topics of particular interest are: Bone tissue engineering; Bone regeneration by nanohydroxyapatite (nHA) extracted from fish bone; Nano Biomaterials for Bone Tissue Regeneration Using Mesenchymal Stem Cells.
