Pradip K. Bhowmik is currently Professor of Chemistry at University of Nevada Las Vegas. He obtained his Masters of Science in Physical/Organic Chemistry and Ph.D. in Organic/Polymer Chemistry from University of Massachusetts at North Dartmouth and University of Massachusetts at Amherst, respectively. Dr. Bhowmik has received research grants from the Petroleum Research Fund, Research Corporation, National Science Foundation, and NASA. He actively participates in various professional organizations related to Chemistry including the American Chemical Society. He currently serves on the editorial board of nine technical journals and has reviewed numerous manuscripts for publication in ca. 60 scholarly journals as well as numerous grant proposals from various public and private funding sources. He currently is an academic editor for Green and Sustainability Chemistry, American Chemical Science Journal and Advances in Research, and an Advisory Board Member for InnoSense LLC.
