Biography

Shmuel Reis MD MHPE. is a family physician to a stable patient population in Northern Israel within a regional integrated health and social services health center he pioneered over 37 years ago. He is chair of Faculty Development and Clinical Skills course director in the Bar Ilan University new Faculty of Medicine in the Galilee. He is the immediate pat Chairperson of the Division of Family Medicine and past-chair of Medical Education in the Technion [Israel Institute of Technology] Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, Haifa, Israel. His present focus is on the launch of the fifth medical school in Israel, as well as the teaching and learning of doctoring, reflective competence, communication skills and professionalism . He is teaching and mentoring at all levels from student to practitioners in CME, and is the PI for an instruction and assessment of primary care physiciansââ
