Son Nghiem completed a PhD in Economics at the University of Queensland, Australia in 2007. He is a senior research fellow in health economics at the Australian Research Centre for Health Services Innovation (AusHSI), Queensland University of Technology, Australia. Before joining AusSHI, Dr Nghiem has worked for seven years at the National Research Centre for Disability and Rehabilitation Medicine, The University of Queensland. His research interest includes applied health econometrics, cost-effectiveness analysis, child health, equity and inequality in health care, and health services innovation. He has published in Journal of Health Economics, Health Economics, BMJ Public Health, and Accident Analysis and Prevention.
