Professor at the Department of Psychology (University of Oviedo, Spain), in the area of Educational and Developmental Psychology. Some publications in national and international high quality journals have been derived from these lines of research, such as those in Metacognition and Learning, Frontiers in Psychology, Learning and Individual Differences, or Journal of Attention Disorders. I also made several contributions to national and international conferences, being worth noticing the Annual Congress of the AERA (American Educational Research Association), or the biennial EARLI Conference (European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction). Some of these contributions have been made in collaboration with other research groups, including North Carolina State University (USA), Utrecht University (Netherlands) and Nottingham Trent University (UK). At present, I combine teaching and research labors as a member of the ADIR (School Learning, Difficulties, and Academic Performance) research group, from the University of Oviedo.
