Dr. Xiaobo Liu

Dr. Xiaobo Liu is now at the School of Biological Sciences of The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. He received his M. Eng. from Jiangnan University and his B. Agr. from Zhejiang Ocean University, respectively. Then he worked as a microbiology supervisor for 2 years in the central lab of Danone, France. His research interests and experience cover the following fields: biofuel & biomass, environmental microbiology, fermentation engineering, food microbiology and processing, marine biology, microbial biotechnology, and wastewater treatment.
Dr. Liu?s recent research papers are mainly published on the journals relating to biotechnology, microbiology and biomass, such as LWT - Food Science and Technology, Algal Research, Biomass & Bioenergy, and Bioresource Technology.
