Koo Jeong Kang a hepatobiliary surgeon I have been dedicated in hepattobiliary and pancreatic surgery including HCC, cholangiocarcinoma, hilar cholangiocarcinoma, GB cancer, pancreatic surgery, and liver transplantation including LDLT. My research interests included hepatic ischemia/reperfusion injury to prevent hepatic injury not only for clinical but also experimental research, and the prognostic significance of anatomical resection of the HCC. Also I have been interested in the gene expression analysis impacted on the prognosis of HCC. My interests include appropriate surgical extent of the gallbladder and bile duct carcinoma according to the stages. And I am interested in writing professional essay regarding medico-surgical field. I have recorded personal experience during my clinical practice. Already I have published three books. One of the books I have written was awarded of ?Non-fiction award of the year 2003? in Korea.
