Associate Professor, Department of Science Education, Faculty of Education
Osaka Kyoiku University, Japan
Masatsugu TANEDA is an associate professor of department of Science Education at Osaka Kyoiku University. He is also affiliated in the Center for Science Education at the University. He majored in organic chemistry at the Kyushu University, Japan, where he received a Ph.D. for his research on chromotropism of N-salicylideneanilines in solid phase. His research interests include science education, synthesis of new-type of photochromic organic compounds, emitters, and near infrared light sensitive dyes, and circular dichroism of organic compounds with simple structure. His research has been funded by a financial group. He studied on emitters for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) at Center for Organic Research and Electronics Research (OPERA), Kyusu University. He is a co-inventor on some patents owned by OPERA and Bio Electromechanical Autonomous Nano Systems (BEANS).
