My interests are primarily the use of hyperspectral microscopy for early and rapid identification of pathogenic bacteria. I enjoy conducting research on multivariate statistical methods and how they relate to spectroscopy data. In addition to hyperspectral microscopy, I am also interested in the use of UV/VIS/NIR and Raman spectroscopy for working with pathogenic bacteria.
