Dr. Ramya S Kuna was born in 15th July 1988, INDIA. She Completed her B.Sc. Molecular Microbiology from University of Hyderabad. She Completed Ph.D. from Department of Biochemistry, University of Hyderabad. She has been working as a Postdoctoral Research FellowSalk Institute, San Diego. Role of Intracellular organelle crosstalk in maintaining Acetyl-CoA homeostasis and de novo lipogenesis (April 2020 – Current). She has been worked in Department of Medicine, University of California San Diego, Studying Golgi-GOLPH3 pathway, its regulation, role in cancer, and suitability as a target for new drugs from (October 2017 – March 2020). Also worked as a Junior Research fellow in Dr. Reddy`s Institute of life sciences, University of Hyderabad, (2010 - September 2011) Conjugation of cationic Lipid to dsRNA oligonucleotide for siRNA delivery” and Project2: “Chemical Biology approach to discover allosteric modulators of GLP-1 Receptor to combat type-2 diabetes”. She Published 9 Papers in peer Review International Journals. She Published Abstracts in many international or national Conferences Seminar or Workshops. She has received best poster award and delivered a talk on the same in Ramanbhai Foundation 8th International Symposium (Advances in New Drug Discovery & Development), February,2017, First prize winner in poster presentation entitled ‘Seven wonders of Microbial World” in BIOQUEST 2009 and Secured 3rd rank in M.Sc Molecular Microbiology National Level entrance Exam.
