Sophia Bakhtadze got her MD degree from Tbilisi State Medical University, Georgia in 2001 and PhD degree from Tbilisi State Medical University in 2011. From 2011 till now she works at Zhvania Academic Clinic of Paediatry at Tbilisi State Medical University. From 2013 She works as professor of child neurology in department of pediatric neurology at Tbilisi State Medical University. Her research focuses on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, autism, cognitive aspects of epilepsy, addictive disorders in children. She reads lectures for students of Tbilisi State Medical University from Georgia and from foreigner countries. Also she participates in US MD program in cooperation with Emory University School of Medicine, USA. She has participated in 36 international conferences with platform and oral presentations. She organized Caucasian training courses in Georgia in joint with European Pediatric Neurology Society (EPNS) and was faculty member as well. She is the member of European Pediatric Neurology Society (EPNS), International Child Neurology Association (ICNA), European Academy of Neurology (EAN), Georgian Union of Neurologists, World federation of ADHD. She has published 19 article in international journals and participates in 7 multicenter clinical trials.
Her research focuses on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, autism, cognitive aspects of epilepsy, addictive disorders in children.
