Acute recurrent pancreatitis is a rare clinical manifestation of cystic fibrosis in children. Cystic fibrosis Trans membrane conduction regulator (CFTR) gene-associated diseases may further contribute to acute recurrent pancreatitis and chronic pancreatitis in children and young adults.
