Endoscopic Nasobiliary Drainage (ENBD) is a transpapillary external biliary drainage procedure developed from Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). ENBD is an external drainage method that is used to complete nasobiliary drainage. It is performed by inserting a tube into the bile duct using a guide wire approach following selective cannulation. Endoscopic papillotomy is a significant therapeutic development in the treatment of common bile duct blockage.
