Author(s): Francesca Giuliani*, Leonardo Frizziero and Giampiero Donnici
This paper introduces a novel design methodology, designated Industrial Design Plus (IDeS+), which incorporates a range of techniques for the collection of technical specifications, thereby facilitating informed decision-making on the part of the user. The integration of Industrial Design Structure (IDeS) with other methods, such as the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) and Conceptual Methods, allows for a comprehensive approach to design, thereby facilitating the resolution of challenges related to adaptation and cultural impacts on consumer behavior. Effective communication between departments is essential for the dissemination of development progress and the resolution of change requests. The proposed methodology aims to align the industry towards a customer-centric product concept, where design plays a central role in product individualisation and customer suggestions dir.. View More»
