The Prevalence of Alzheimer's Disease and Hospital Readmissions Rates: A Retrospective Study

Alzheimer's disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disease primarily affecting the elderly population and is a major public health challenge worldwide. The objective of this retrospective quantitative study was to investigate the prevalence rates of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) in the United States within the population aged 65 and above and explore variations within the study population. In addition, the study also examined the AD prevalence and readmission rates in comparison with other specific chronic conditions to provide a holistic understanding of Alzheimer’s disease.
